The pitch

While Grab has been focusing mainly on performance marketing, we are proposing to start the marketing strategy with us from an earlier point in the marketing tunnel to increase the app's traffic, which will lead to increasing the longevity of their customers and create greater chances for monetisation touchpoints.

In order to achieve this, we've identified a few key points for the creatives:

  • Be engaging and eye-catching as we want users to visit the app afterwards
  • Intriguing customer and pique their curiosity to discover further
  • Capturing more traffic during key moments (megasales, birthday bash, new launches)

The outcome

Based on the key points above, we created 3 ad concepts for Grab:

  • An interactive product discovery carousel
  • An interactive pull-to-reveal concept that aims to pique users' curiosity
  • Using gyroscopic 3D effect for an immersive experience
